Hi Brad,
You are very welcome, SPAN is a great resource!
We still need to get together for lunch and catch up.
Hello Brad. Sorry it took some time to get back with you. I'm out of town back and forth for the next couple of months without available internet access.
I love this site for not only the information and help that authors & publishers can receive, but also the interaction and friendships that are developed. I am proud to be a spanpro member.
Here is the update on an "An Angel for Joey" which changes the release date to May - unfortunately, and the reasons are as follows: MS progression and having to be put on new medication to slow the progression, and then on top of everything, my computer crashed, and everything with it. It's been a bad month. Luckily, I have an exterior hard drive, and ended up having to buy another computer. I lost some of my images and data which includes some parts of "An Angel for Joey" and some of the book had to be redone before being submitted to the printers. I'm happy to say I actually feel more pumped up and ready to start promotions with local bookstores, web ads, etc, plus my new website is being worked on. So everything is moving forward. Plus, getting ready to release another book for this summer titled "The Little Sunflower Named Tib." I've started working on a series "Paintings by Ruth" demonstrating works of art. At the end of November, I will be releasing "Gracie, A Little Gray Donkey" which is a children's book for christmas. I am also writing a book titled "Sea of Forgiveness" which is a true story that will grip readers everywhere.
Think I'm a little busy? I think so. I look forward to learning and collaborating more in spanpro working with the best of the best.
Have a great week.
Thanks for your email, Brad. I know Joel, and was happy to find out about the discussion here. I haven't been active enough on the site.
My How to Blog a Book proposal is out with Writer's Digest, but they haven't gotten back to my agent. I'm getting antsy...may just self-publish. I'm a traditional publishing holdout thinking I might just have to go indie. I know a lot because I write about the industry and have been very involved with the San Francisco Writer's Conference for years, but I haven't done it myself. I've got short books I've self-published and five blogs...time to take things into my own hands on a bigger scale, I think.
Thanks again for reaching out.
Nina
