“Daddy’s Wives” is a book based on true events detailing the traumatic emotional, mental, and sexual abuse her siblings and herself endured at the hands of their power controlling father/step-father.
Her story begins at the age of 5 as she reveals to the world her heart-felt testimony of a little girl thrust into a living nightmare of pain and abuse. Follow Savannah as she searches for hope and peace, ultimately finding solace in God. Her journey from anguish describes all the details, tears, hurt, and depression that many who have been sexually abused as a child are confronted with. Yet her testimony is one of strength, courage, and faith through the power of God that allowed her to become a loving wife, mother of three, and strong woman in her community who has taken a stand against child sexual abuse.
This book is a must read, not only for those who have or who are faced with the challenges of healing and becoming a survivor. It also stands as an instrument of truth, showing that we must all join the fight in making people aware and preventing this so called “secret” in our households and communities from continuing to hinder or destroy the lives of many of our young children both male and female.
Savannah’s passion for writing this book was to provide help and resources to those people who have experienced similar sexual abuse as a child. We would like to thank you for having us on the panel and looking forward to the meeting you.
