That is a good question Dr. Hawkins.
There may be more then one ideal format for a one-page Sell Sheet, as the amount of information, and the context of your marketing message, along with the complexity of your branding strategy, can all be factors in determining the best format to meet your conversion goals.
Having said all that, one of the most common and successful formats for a Sell Sheet is outlined here:
http://www.usatoday.com/money/smallbusiness/columnist/abrams/2004-0...
Here on SPANnet, we created a sell sheet to help us concisely explain our advertising program to prospective advertisers.
In this case, due to the large amount of information that needed to shared, the graphic layout and format arose from our need to comprehensively outline our custom advertising platform onto 1 page.
As mentioned in the above, our goal was to share a large amount of information concisely. This goal is what dictated our formatting and layout decisions.
In that regard, would you like to share with use the general goals that you would like to accomplish for your next Sell Sheet?

Thank you for the information. I am sure that I will use it as I develop my sell sheet.
My goal is to develop an advertisement piece that causes booksellers, corporations, and individuals to purchase my award winning Tri-Lingual Alphabets book, which is now available in English, Spanish and French. If time permits, view http://www.epic-press.com. Any thoughts that you have on promoting this book are welcome. Will share the final copy when completed.

Sylvia,
I took a look at your site and the information on your homepage does a good job of functioning as a virtual one page sell sheet, by allowing me to understand the gist and narrative of your book in one clean visual gasp.
The only thing I found missing on it was the age rating for the book.
Which left me wondering, what age group is this book appropriate for?

I never thought about putting the age group on the home page. The age group for this book is 0 to 7 years old.
Thank you,
Sylvia
