This best practices post is a component of the PIP Program which is being developed with the intention of combating any mainstream stigma associated with self, or independent, publishing that exists in the market place.

In regard to my two posts below about Facebook Event and Twitter Best Practices, I was wondering what the real time qualitative process would be for the PIP evaluation procedures..
Specifically, should we measure an authors Marketable worth based on how many fans they have. I know that is relevant. An independent author with 1,000 fans is more likely to sell there new book that an indy author with 10 fans.
But how should that figure into the PIP program?
