The Frankfurt Book Fair
Hello everyone. I hope you've all had a great summer. As you may know, the industry's mega trade show is quickly approaching. I thought I'd open things up for those who are going to the show or have been there in the past. Frankfurt is an intimidating show to be sure. I'm sure anyone going for the first time would welcome insight. Please post away!

The U.S. Commercial Service’s Global Publishing Team will be at the Frankfurt Book Fair to meet with U.S. publishers who want to learn more about how we can help sell your rights/products overseas. As a federal government agency, we have resources for publishers, such as access to market research and opportunities to exhibit your books through catalog shows around the world.
We also have Publishing Specialists from Spain and Austria attending the show, whom are offering appointments to U.S. publishers to discuss their respective markets.
