Foreign Distribution

It seems that a small publshing company such as mine are at a great disadvantage in acquiring services such as repesentation in special areas of the market place. The two areas I'm interested in are getting large print representation - I'll have to do that myself, and establishing a relationship with a company that will represent my title (s) in foreign distribution with out have to take them on as a domestic distributor.

What I need help with is finding someone that will distribute my book (I have a second book coming out by the end of the year) in Europe and Israel and still allow me to make some money.

Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

That won't work. I'm in New York all day on 7/20 and 7/21 and till noon on 7 /22. 7/20 seemed like the best day for me.
I'll let you know when I be back in NYC again. Probably early to mid August

Dawn is back in NYC in August after a temporary duty assignment overseas. I checked our roster, and we don't have an active team member in Philly. Can you wait to schedule with Dawn in August? She's in Ghana now, but you can email her directly at dawn.bruno@trade.gov

I went to the site that Keith recommended, http://www.buyusa.gov/publishing , filled out the Contact Us form, and received a call from the local office yesterday. The gentleman was very helpful and sent me on to the next step. I will now register on the website he gave me to do a little market research, then contact him when I've narrowed down my target markets/countries. So far it seems like this could be a very valuable service. And to think my taxes are already paying for it.
