Getting to the UK

I've just set up a Lightning Source UK printing & distribution account. I had filled out the paperwork awhile back, but didn't realize that I had to ask them to activate the account. Doing so opens up the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania and Continental Europe markets for reasonable shipping costs and times.

I also signed up with The Book Depository as an affiliate in order to use their free worldwide shipping offer. Powell's Publisher's Program is active too.

Even so, most activity has been through Amazon.com! I think that people are simply used to what they are used to.

I'm curious as to what experience people have had with the overseas markets?
