I'm a book printer looking for some dialogue with writers who have production concerns.

i've written and designed a book that is too labor-intensive for hand-printing in large volume (i have screen-printed white ink over (and under) black laser-printing on brown craft paper). i have been encouraged to try to get this book published, and am looking for a publishing house that works with production houses that are willing and able to do larger print runs using less-than-conventional printing techniques such as these. do you have any ideas? thanks for posting!
I am seeking a reasonably priced printing company for short runs.
Hello, I am planning to publish a "comic style" paperback. I have been thinking about publishing this book in 6x9 w/ black & white interior via POD, but wanted to make sure and think long term of how I could publish this in color down the road. (Publishing color POD for 120 pages is going to price myself out of the market) What I am generally seeing is that color POD doesn't generally print in 6x9. Would it be wise to print b/w in 5.5 x 8.5? That way if I come out with a full color version, the book would have the same dimensions. Would a comic style paperback translate well into 5.5 x 8.5 or is this too small? I can't help but think about the Archie Comic Paperbacks that are approximately that size. Seems to work fine... I am a brand new publisher, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
I am looking for a good quality inexpensive epub or other ebook converter besides Calibre. The last version crashed as someone infected it. I'm not in a big hurry, because I have the print books available as POD and PDFs which are created with slightly modified Word files. I had epubs all ready to go with Lulu and iPad but changed my mind. Maybe epubs later. The problem is I also have to find the time to write the next book and it's difficult with all the damage control I have to do. It's not just getting the digital files formatted correctly, it's the amount of time wasted with watching this or that site go down because of bandwidth or hacking issues. Piracy is the least of my concerns right now.
Kumar,
Do you also provide distribution?
