I took a look at the site and can't see how this is going to affect book publishing in any way except to help writers, publishers, and others in the publishing world, and especially new folks, to become more informed. Do you have concerns?

Looks like a great site from Harper Collins, I think we will see more and more houses beginning to "brand" themselves and try to make a deeper connection to the readers. I think they feel they are going to have to make an effort now that the digital world is heating up. One of the tactics I read about was searching for the writers who are getting ready to become "big" or building a following on the internet through social media, those that already have a developed platform. Looks interesting, and I will probably follow to see how it goes. Thanks!
